My Beautiful Tribe

I recently set out to update the portraits of my own family. Life is so busy and it seems that making the time to do it gets put on the backburner so I wanted to make sure I commit to getting it done. I know too well the importance of recording family portraits. I captured the younger two at the end of last year and 8 months later have finally got the two older ones together. I now have the task of getting myself and my husband together! That will be another day but not too far away - I want the three images to hang together as a trio. I know I’ll look back and treasure the time I took to make sure I captured this stage of life. I love looking at their faces x

Tanya 2.0

9 months on from our last shoot, I had pleasure of shooting Tanya again. This girl is so fun to shoot as she makes my job easy of making her look awesome! Different from the last shoot which was a studio session, this time we headed out on location, and included some family shots as well.

The brief was fun, strong, and sexy. That it was. What I love about this shoot is Tanya came with a goal and knew what she wanted. I love it!

I think she looks amazing …. it’s pretty inspiring to see someone have a dream and go for it. Even better to capture it in a shoot to have and treasure forever. Speaking of … another thing to do to treasure forever … you can never regret making the time to make a visual memory of the most important people of your life … some of my favorite of the family shots
