Depiction & Interpretation
The brief was to take a descriptive photo to represent a person, and then take a photo of your interpretation of that person…. then to do the same with an object! I think they speak for themselves :)
Archie & Amelie
From my previous post you’ll know I love the idea of capturing and celebrating our little cherubs in their element doing what makes them unique. So when I was asked to photograph these two I jumped at the chance. In the shoot, not only did I get to do what I love, but I got to hear some serious tunes from these very talented little musicians. They were impressive!
Thanks for letting me capture you both.
Capturing our unique little beings ... Part 1
When it comes to documenting children, I am a big fan of celebrating what makes them unique. Yes there is a beautiful nostalgia in a photo that has siblings all together, but there’s also something special about taking the time to have each child shine in their own element.
I have been updating the images I want to have of my own children - the ones I want to have forever that are deliberatly not phone photos - and I love that I have something about them that is meaningful and resonant of them and this stage of their lives.
Here are two of them I am sharing, two to follow …..
